Terms of service

Updated 22 September 2026

These terms govern use of Snapdump, a Rooteny product. By creating an account, subscribing, or uploading files, you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

The service

Snapdump lets a host create an album with a QR and link. Guests send originals in the browser. Files go into a folder in the host’s Google Drive. We do not offer a public gallery, display screen, guestbook, or permanent media hosting.

Account

The host signs in with Google only. You must use an account you control and keep access to it. Guests do not need an account.

Subscription and payment

Billing is in Brazilian reais through Stripe: Basic R$50 a month or Pro R$200 a month (English marketing may show approximate USD equivalents). Both plans include a 7-day free trial; your card is saved at checkout and charged after the trial unless you cancel, unless Snapdump grants complimentary access. Without an active subscription (or equivalent access), the host cannot connect Drive or create the folder.

You manage payment method and cancellation in the Stripe customer portal. After you cancel, access continues until the end of the paid period unless Stripe states otherwise. Files already uploaded stay in your Drive.

Google Drive

You authorize Snapdump to create an album folder and write guest uploads into it. That permission does not cover the rest of your Drive. If you disconnect Drive or revoke access in Google, uploads stop. Google may change APIs or limits; we do not control that.

Content and acceptable use

The host is responsible for the album, the QR, the guests, and the files that arrive in the folder. Guests are responsible for what they send.

You may not use Snapdump for illegal or malicious content or content that infringes others’ rights; for spam or abuse of the infrastructure; or to access albums, accounts, or systems without authorization. Files larger than 250 MB may be rejected.

Ownership

Snapdump, the brand, and the software belong to Rooteny. Photos and videos remain with whoever holds the rights. By uploading, a guest authorizes delivery of that file to the host’s Drive for that album. Snapdump does not claim ownership of the media.

Availability

The service depends on the internet, Google, and Stripe. There may be outages, maintenance, or failures. We do not promise every upload will succeed on every network, in-app browser (WhatsApp, Instagram), or device.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Snapdump is provided as is. We are not liable for files lost in Drive, misuse of photos by the host or guests, or indirect damages. In any case, Rooteny’s aggregate liability for the service is limited to the amount you paid Snapdump in the 12 months before the claim, or the mandatory minimum under Brazilian consumer law, whichever is more protective of the consumer.

Termination

You may stop using the service, cancel the subscription, and disconnect Drive. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put the service at risk.

Changes and governing law

We may change these terms. The date at the top is the current version. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the new version where the law allows.

Brazilian law applies. Consumer disputes follow the courts of the consumer’s domicile, under the Código de Defesa do Consumidor.
